     Kristin Haverkamp is a photographer who grew up in a small farming town in Kansas. Since she was a young girl she has always been interested in photography. Kristin was always the one who would want to capture an event with a picture when she was with friends and family—she always had her camera ready. At first she thought photography was just a hobby that she enjoyed and so when she went to Kansas State University for college, she decided that she was going to concentrate in graphic design since it would still allow her to be creative. As she was taking classes, she realized she enjoyed her photography class and the creative thinking it allowed her. She knew then that photography was more than just a hobby and something that she wanted to pursue. As she has grown in photography and learned more about it; she realized that a picture is something that people can look back on and remember a specific moment in time. When you look at a picture certain feelings and emotions can come rushing back that people had once forgotten.
